aren't signatures supposed to show up under a post?

I've made a signature, albeit just a bit of text, and I don't see it under any of my posts. I thought, maybe it's just I can't see my own? But I never saw it under any other posts either. I thought again, maybe they're not setting it?

Then I'd see people comment and say their friend code is in their signature and not write it in the specific comment. That'd be fine, except I don't see any signature and so I need to go to their profile to find the signature and friend code. Which is fine, but...

Is this the way it's supposed to be? Or is there some sort of hidden setting to activate seeing them? Thank you!

Are you mobile? Signatures don't show up on mobile anymore, only on desktop. If you want to see the signatures on mobile you have to switch your browser to desktop mode or turn your phone sideways.

As stated above, signatures don't show on the mobile site.

If you are on another device and still can't see them, please go to Preferences and ensure the "Show people's signatures with their messages" option is checked.

Pretty sure ChromeOS is a mix of linux OS and a modified chrome web browser. Not sure why it would detect it as mobile?

It should not show as mobile.
did you check the option on preferences section?
