I've been into drawing anime/manga since as long as I can remember. Started off with traditional art then gradually moved into digital art in 2012. Honestly, when I was first starting out with digital art, I'd compare my art with more professional art and couldn't even imagine being that good. I'm still barely there, but after finishing my most recent drawing on Paint Tool Sai, not sure why but I just decided to take a quick trip to the past and paid a visit to one of my old DeviantART accounts I made in 2014. That account was made and abandoned only a year ago, and yeah that doesn't seem that old or far back, but my improvements compared to then is just astonishing. I swear my art from back then is complete sh-t now that I look at it, and that's probably what I'm going to say again next year about my current art style - but I honestly thought it was really good back then because those were the limits of my skills. Although, I just realized that I haven't even practiced much over the past year. The most I really did was draw chibi styled sketches on note cards, but I'm assuming I've been seeing a lot of various art styles from other people and picked up some ideas along the way. Anyway, just thought I'd share a before and after comparison of my art after a one year span

(I feel like I should really clean up the line art when I can, haha)
