I have decided to make this into an art dump! I'll dump my digital art here, and I would appreciate it if you commented/gave opinion on any arts I made or previously made that's shown.

Thank you everyone for your honest opinions and thoughts~

My non-pixel art is horrific so don't look too long haha!

~Temp Shop~

;-; This is my first attempt at selling art so... (I literally never even looked much in the Art section of the TBT marketplace either OTL) Please tell me if I do anything wrong so I can fix it; this thread is probably gonna be made wrong ugh.

~Types I do: Colored Pencil, Graphite (no digital stuff here, sorry)

~Pricing: Coloured Pencil: 150 TBT per/ Graphite: 100 TBT per (??? Like literally I have no clue how to price this. Tell me if it's too low or too high. And if it's too low don't take advantage of me please)

~Exmaples: -damnit they wont load-

I see a lot of improvment needed. When you do it, use a transparent background, and don't make a background. After you do that, you can work on backgrounds. Also, the lines and shape! Work more on the shading and lightin more.

Personally, it's not something I would buy. But don't let that stop you from trying to sell it! I would just suggest practicing more!

Well, I think the art itself is fine. There's room for improvement. But please don't go bashing your work and then posting a thread about it anyway. Anyway, since you're not too familiar with it drawing digitally, just take some time to practice, I guess?

i wouldnt say its horrible, but like everyone else, you'll improve with practice. just have more confidence in your level of skills
(if you want, i can send you the paint tool sai program free of charge if you dont have it already. its a fairly simple program and it's easy to use in terms of practice and such)

- the lineart is a bit blurry. im not sure what tool you used for that, but i recommend using a pen/ink pen tool for it
- as aithycou already mentioned, you should leave the backgrounds for last
- to be blunt, the sun with the heat waves in the top corner of the canvas is pretty generic. i suggest moving it so it's peaking up from the mountains at least
- im not sure how to elaborate, but the clouds need a bit more work as well as details in general (shading/lighting)

Yeah, don't bash your work. That'll get you nowhere. I did that, and everyone kept hating on me, and someone even made a thread about the thread I made. just ask for help on how to get better and you'll be better in no time

Ughhh I hate using blasted layers. I guess I'll try it though.

:p No one would buy it. If I even attempt to sell (that's only if), it'll be 1 tbt per. At least everyone could afford it :/

I'm not bashing my work; I'm being realistic. Compared to 99% of the artists on here, mine is crap. I just wanted to see other people's views and opinions before I ever offer it to anyone ever again.

I generally just use photoshop elements 9 and corel painter essentials 4, since I'm used to their layout and things.
My bamboo wacom tablet is sadly packed and it'll probably stay packed for awhile since I'm moving next week XD

For the lineart, I actually manually blurred it LOL woops, I'll never do that again~
Yeah, I'll try the darn layers feature >,< ugh
For the sun, I was in a very uncreative mood when I made it. I generally prefer making sunsets climb behind mountains/oceans myself, as that's what I typically do in my realism
For shading and lighting, I know it's crappy. Probably won't get much better-

Aye, I'm not trying to bash my work though, I'm being realistic.
:/ Maybe I should just offer irl realism art instead lol

Kawaii.
Not terrible for just starting! But I'm bad so I can't speak. It's cool! :D

The goal was kawaii pokemon, since everyone on here is in love with anything and all things kawaii and chibi~
And no you're not. We all know mine is worse ;)

Needs improvement but not bad especially for first starting off!

Thanks. I might revert back to pixel art and realism after this haha!

No one is good at digital art on their first try! Getting used to the way your tablet works, figuring out layers, finding the right program for you, it's hard! Keep trying!

Not bad for the first try but you need practice. Keep experimenting and practising and day by day your art is going to improve.

Yes! I couldn't have said it better in my own words~

Thanks and LOL I know. I think I'm gonna turn this into an art dump ^-^

Thank you everyone for your opinions!

(P.S. about to dump some pixels I made today here so keep a look out in the OP ;D)

I created that a few days ago ^ for Call me Daniel

Do any of you think I'd have a chance at a button (with words/phrases/animation/etc) shop? ;-; I don't personally think I will but tell your opinions~
