I don't know how to explain this one without sugarcoating it. But long story short about a decade ago there was an incident involving people turning into mer people. Years later up until the summer of 2015 I started getting these weird scales when I touched water. I didn't know what was happening until my legs turned into a mermaid tail for the first time.

What does Geekaloompa and Hulavuta mean?

The name Geekaloompa came from a game called YoWorld that I play every night. Around 2012 I was hanging out with my friends and we dressed up our toon avatars as Oompa Loompas. It was since that day I had stuck with the name Geekaloompa in these last few years. As for the name Hulavuta I got it from another user who I saw in the youtube comments section oneday. The name comes from a tune from Diddy Kong Racing. So than oneday I wanted to change my name and Hulavuta came to mind. I really like the name because "Hula" is a Hawaiian dance and "vuta" is a wacky strange jibberish word, that alone reflects my odd personality.

My tail is a light purple color with a tiny bit of darker purple on the rim of my tail

No you cannot. It's against the unwritten rule for a mer person to reveal themselves like that. Plus mermaids don't use cameras or take "selfies"

full blooded Nerplex do not have any fins and flippers so there aren't any natural marine type Nerplex.

I changed my username because of an unexpected circumstance. I right in bright colors because it reflects my personality and mood at the time
