~~Attempt at a Character Ref~~

So, I just came back from like a year break or so from Animal Crossing, and recently started over again. I always like looking in the museum forum hoping to get some artwork done for my Mayor. I realized that my current ref is a bit to outdated, and I needed a new one.

I tried going around the forums looking for someone to make me a new one, but I figured I give it a try instead. It was a lot harder than it looked to get it completed. I've only managed to get the first part of my vision complete.

For Starters, here is my last character ref:

Here is my first part of my new character ref that I have designed:

My vision for my new red consists of 3 Parts:
1. Main - Name and Examples of Artworks Completed [COMPLETED]
2. All Side Views of QR Code Shirt
3. All Side Views of In-Game Outfit

So far, I believe I'm off to a good start, well at least for a starter anyways. The first part took me about an hour to complete. I don't use a fairly known program, but it was good enough for me to work on my vision.

I just wanted to post my progress and see what others think of my progress so far, or if anyone thinks I am doing a good job as well.

It looks great so far especially if this is your first time making a reference sheet! One thing is that the text is bit dark, since you used a dark green with black outline and included a drop shadow as well. I would suggest using the dark green as the outline instead and use either a light shade of green (somewhere in the green-yellow range?), or an entirely different colour to complement with said dark green outline.

I agree the text may appear a bit dark, but I left it the way it was.
I tried changing it, but it kept bothering me.
