Super Sailor Senshi
August has finally begun! (Yes this is a day or two late but bear with me). This means new events in town, new fish and bugs appear, and autumn is already around the corner! Since it's a brand new month, I decided to check my ACNL guide for any new bugs, fish, or deep sea creatures that would appear. I was in luck!
I opened up my game and decided to get started. My first goal was to get a turban shell.

Since it's shadow is so tiny, I was worried about passing over it, but after a minute or two of searching, I saw a tiny shadow. I dove down, thinking it was going to be an acorn barnacle, and brought back up the turban shell! I was shocked it didn't take very long!
I then moved back on land and donned my silver rod. Next, I was gonna catch the ray!

I combed the beach, looking for the large shadows in the water. I ended up fishing for only five minutes or so before I reeled in the ray! I seemed to be having an immense amount of luck with these catches!
Further on in the day, I brought my reel back out and decided to go soft shelled turtle hunting! (Not really of course!)

This catch actually took me a bit of time. It's a large shadow that's a bit wider than the others so its a little difficult to tell the difference between the turtle and the black bass. I tried for about an hour while I was in my room but ended up having to stop for a bit so I could drive over to my boyfriend's house. After another hour of sitting in his living room and fishing, I finally snagged a turtle!
Three new catches in one day is really weird for me so I'm extremely satisfied, to say the least! If only I was this lucky when it came to catching bugs, especially the scorpion! I'm still missing six or seven bugs
Hopefully I can finish my bug collection soon!
