So I just remembered a really weird interaction I had once with one of my teachers.
Small backstory about her: She was the most strict teacher you could imagine.
Everybody was fearing her and they would say she's like a soldier. She didn't like anyone, ever.
Soo.. luck ran out and I got her as my history teacher. As expected, even my class, that was
known for being one of the worst to handle was extremelly quiet and respectful towards her.
One day, when class was over and we were going out the classroom for lunchbreak, she asked
me to stay for a second. Oh man, I was already fearing for my life at this point.
She started to talk to me in the most normal voice I've ever heard of her. She was actually
worried about my shyness and how the others must treat me for it. And then the weird part came.
I think she doesn't know too well on how to be nice to students, so she was like "Can I pet you on the head?"
Of course I wouldn't deny anything from her, as I still knew how scary she can be, so I accepted and she pet
me on the head. That was suuuuper weird. I'm glad that she seemed to like me, but it was still such a
weird interaction! And that's how I came up with this topic.. what was your awkward / weird interactions with a teacher?

hm I guess this fits more under very weird/ kinda creepy:

i was holding a presentation in front of the class (facing towards the teacher) and in the middle of it our teacher interrupted me to tell me that my pants were unzipped
I just wanted to sink into the floor

anyways the whole class went silent and afterwards a few people told me that that was really inappropiate and he was a creep for apparently staring so intensely at an 11-year-old's pants

i mean at least no one laughed (except my teacher lol???) looking back that was really mature for a bunch of preteens

My teacher held me and this other girl after class. Once everyone was gone, he asked us if he looked like David Suzuki. He was Asian but like what??? We both said yes and then he let us go home. This was grade 7. He wasn't normally weird or creepy so this still confuses me to this day.

We had a teacher in middle school who hated his job, but would very regularly act creepy to the female students. He'd do things such as arrange the seats so all the girls sat close to his desk and all the boys so they sat near the walls, as well as being a little too friendly with some of the female students. He was "suspended" several times but the school never fired him.

Oh wow, how creepy indeed! Even if he noticed by chance, he could've said it after class was over and not in such a way. >-<

Really awkward on my part. I accidentally called my French teacher mom once. I was trying to say Madame and that’s what came out 🙃
That reminds me of something I said once, when I just arrived in France!
I had no idea how to answer to people and once me and my bf went somewhere and his family said "Bon voyage" to us
and I answered "Merci, bon voyage aussi".. shortly after my bf told me what I said to them and I became as red as a human could
possibly become. Speaking other languages can lead to such awkward situations!

I feel like such thing happens too often. I had a teacher who would favor the girls, that he thought were pretty.
They didn't do great in a presentation but needed a good grade? Oh, suddenly the grade went up a bit, because they are pretty!
There was also a rumour that he made out with a female student, but the weird part is, that he was together with my Sports teacher,
soo.. very confusing situation, that I'm glad I'm not a part of anymore!

The classic when you call your teacher "mom", ofc.

other than that, i don't remember any, so no.
but i have had 2 teachers back to back who were pedophiles so there's that
(my 7/8 grade social studies teacher and my 6th grade music teacher)

My middle school band teacher gave me a wet willy once (where you like...lick your finger and stick it in someone's ear). My mom went up there and chewed him out because I told her it was weird lol. He's dead now RIP.

Then one time in middle school (I think) some dude was subbing and mostly sat at his computer, and a girl came up and a...um...certain type of picture/video on the computer. That's about all I remember lol

I don't think any of my teachers were that weird. The only one that really comes to mind is this substitute for biology who would spend half the class rambling about unrelated things and giving random life advice. I'm sure you mean well, but I'm trying to read about how the lungs work right now so is this really necessary?

I liked to wear a lot of rainbow stuff when I was in highschool (and still do). One time my history teacher pulled me out of class and asked me if I was gay. It seemed like she wanted to be supportive but I found it very off-putting the way she put me on the spot like that.

idk if this is rly weird/awkward but i had this coach for p.e in elementary school, and he'd always pull me aside to give me free stuff from the prize section (the pe coaches would give us tickets for doing good and we could spend them on prizes) but in the middle of class he would call me over and ask me to pick something out, or when we were in the middle of playing games he'd be the coach watching the students and whenever id get close to him, he'd give me something he picked out for me.. ive always thought it was weird ever since then but i never told anyone. looking back on it, he might've felt bad for me because i never really had friends at that school i went to LOL

I have this elderly history professor now who is very strange. It’s a bit different since it’s all online but he’d treat the girls very different from the guys as he would often ignore them. He would give special treatment and call girls nicknames and even tease them. He’s also the same professor who was caught *ahem* not muting his microphone and some very interesting audio played while we all had to put on our cameras for our quiz (which I happened to be there for to witness). He would also sometimes private message other female students (including me) with some very weird wording on privately congratulating us with our test scores? Another scenario was that he used me as an example to the class to try and point out that I won’t be able to make the same income as my future husband even though I never asked? Okay sir.

I once tried kissing my SLP (female, i'm boy), probably because I felt so comfortable in the meetings
I was like 8 I think

I once caught one of my professors staring at my chest  was weird. A different professor told me that I have a "nice smile and should smile more", in front of the entire class. Sucks because they were both favorite professors of mine but those interactions kinda stained my view of them a bit.

I don't think me nor my teachers were weird enough to have such a weird/awkward interaction, so I don't there were anyways. :(

I've witnessed many weird/awkward/creepy moments with teachers at school, but the first awkward one that comes to mind is about my 6th grade math teacher. I think she was bipolar since she would fluctuate between being a cool, go with the flow teacher to suddenly getting very angry with the class, which the other kids picked up on and liked to gossip about. Either way, her mood swings never bothered me since I was a "good student" and she was a decent teacher. Anyways, one day in particular she was extra crabby and kept going off at our class for really minor things when suddenly, she burst into tears and proceeds to tell us that she and her husband are getting divorced and starts telling us about all their marriage problems. The entire class was just sitting there like o________O lmao since we were only like 11 or 12 back then.

Another awkward one is when I was in 8th grade my history/homeroom teacher was infamous for "being sweaty." Every day he'd come into homeroom (beginning of the day) wearing a standard button up shirt with a tie, but at the end of the day his pits were drenched in sweat. Like the sweat ring was HUGE. I would have felt back for him but he was a total creep and would constantly make inappropriate comments at the girls in our class, and women in general.

While I'm on a roll, here's one more. Also in 6th grade, my art teacher one day got a new tattoo. I guess she told some of her other students about it, because a few boys in my class period kept asking her to show them too. She finally caved and proceeded to lift up the side of her shirt to show some tiger tattoo that went from her waist all the way up to under her armpit. Kinda weird that this 30 something year old lady is lifting up her shirt and showing off her tattoo for 6th grade boys ya kno

Edit: just one more lol- When I was in 10th grade, I went to a really small private high school. I guess because it was so small the subs were often teacher's spouses or sometimes even students' moms, so needless to say we as the students knew all the subs. One day my classmates and I are sitting in math class, waiting for the class to start, when suddenly this lady walks in wearing all bright pink from head to toe with huge blonde hair and matching pink lipstick. She looks like a 40 year old barbie, and introduces herself as our substitute teacher Mrs. ____, but then says "just call me Tammy!!!!!" We're all looking at each other like ....o...kay..... and class continued as usual since we were just working on some project in teams, so all "Tammy" had to do was supervise us. Then at lunch I'm sitting with my friends and one of them said did you hear about the new sub? And I was like b---h I had the new sub, she's wack. But then he told me that apparently "Tammy" got so pissed off at another class that she started cussing them out and got fired before the day was even over. What a legend

Not so much awkward/weird as it was scary/interesting, but I remember I took a philosophy class awhile ago, and at the very last day of the class we were told that if we stayed in the room for the final hour, we would be given extra credit points, but if we chose to leave that’s fine too. But the catch was that if we stayed in the room for the extra credit, there would be no rules or laws between all of us. I chose to leave, but I’m curious to find out what would have happened had I stayed...

(I still ended up passing the class in the end anyway, so, it’s not like the extra credit mattered all that much for me)

i've had incidents where i've called my teachers "mom" or "dad" on accident, very recently i was walking in the hal and i teacher said hi and waved so i said hi back, only to realize he was waving at the teacher behind me. i was embarrassed so i hurried to class after that
