Less than a year after the release of Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nintendo announces a brand new Animal Crossing game, titled "Animal Crossing: 360" slated for a US release on the Xbox 360 this fall.

Microsoft and Nintendo have announced joint development of the title "Doubutsu no Mori 360" which will be playable on the Xbox 360 and be released in Fall 2006. Both companies have been looking forward to working with each other on such a project.
Doubutsu no Mori 360 will be compatible with the Xbox Live online service and up to 50 players will be able to play together. Both companies are hoping that this venture will be enjoyed by people of all ages.
