Bad times to start uncontrobably laughing ?

one time, during lunch, my friend had showed me a really funny meme. it was a weird meme that i didn't understand, but when she pointed it out, i burst out laughing. what i failed to notice was that my friend was talking about how one of her family members just just diagnosed with cancer. as soon as i started laughing, i got a big smack over my head. i assured her that i would never laugh at that, but i think she hated me for the whole day tbh.

This is my number one fear.

When it was a event at school, then suddenly I saw clowns, and I started laughing my head off, and ended up on the floor.

I have no idea why but I laugh when I get blood drawn. I'm not scared of getting blood drawn or needles. I'm not nervous at all. I just start giggling. It started a loooong time ago when I was a teenager & was pregnant with my son. They took my blood every week because I wasn't gaining weight. In fact I was losing weight. They kept taking blood to make sure my baby & I were still doing okay. At some point I just started giggling when they were taking the blood and the reaction still happens to this day. I always warn the tech who is going to take my blood so they don't think I'm crazy.

As someone who, believe it or not (you guys will think I'm completely crazy for this), suffered from laughing attacks (basically random fits of laughter), this thread is completely relatable... They haven't completely gone away, either, but I don't have them nearly as much as I used to.

Most of the times when it would be a horrible time for it to have happen would be in the middle of class. I remember that during my freshman year of high school, my biology teacher often thought I was being disrespectful to her and/or wasn't paying attention in her class. I also remember that the school year before that, when I was in 8th grade, I often got embarrassed in front of a girl I had a massive crush on because I would start having them and she sat next to me in my English class as we were in a group together that our teacher in that class had put us in (that's how I got to know her).

I always wondered, and honestly still do, why I had these "laughing attacks". However, my mom said they were likely caused by stress, and that would make sense, as they largely happened from when I was in 7th to 10th grade (I did start having them in 6th grade and I was somewhat stressed out then, but not quite as much as I would be later), a time which was very stressful in my life and I won't lie, my life generally from 2012 to 2015 was in a slump. I had many points where my grades weren't good, my parents often got onto me for this, and it often made my teachers upset as well. I also faced a lot of bullying, particularly in middle school, and while these random fits of laughter did indeed make that worse, obviously that's a cause of stress in itself. I'm just happy those days are over, but while I thought they stopped during my sophomore year of high school in 2015, I do remember them somewhat coming back just a couple of months ago (I just finished my freshman year of college) after how I wasn't doing well in my Bible class and my mom was hammering me about my grade. I'm really hoping 2019 doesn't become a year where they make a return after they had been gone for longer than I had them, since I got ridiculed by even friends for it so much, but this has already been one of the worst years I've had.

When someone asks if you did something bad and you say no and really mean it, but start laughing for some reason, which makes the person think you're lying.

Also when people are overestimating their ability to draw/write/craft something etc. and they are bursting with pride and you trying to be polite like.. hey nice art.. umm yeah.

I remember this one time years ago in school where we had a substitute teacher who was a real stickler. He gathered us around a table to lecture us on our bad behaviour and such, and my friend next to me was eating an orange. I wasn't paying attention, but rather focusing on my friend. She did that thing where you put the orange wedge between your teeth so it looks like the orange skin is your teeth. For some reason this made me burst out with massively loud laughter while the rest of the class was dead silent listening to this teacher's rant. The teacher got really annoyed with me and was like "you think this is funny?!?!" and yelled at me for a solid minute. I was such a teachers pet back then that I didn't know what to do with myself after that lol.

Other than that, I always find myself laughing when I'm serving customers at work. Our team always has good chats and jokes around a lot while we're working, then a customer needs to be served, so I go serve them still laughing at something that my workmates have said. Sometimes the conversation will keep on going while I'm trying to listen to the customer and I'll keep on laughing, and try to hide my laughter when I'm grabbing their food out of the cabinet or something lol.

I used to giggle uncontrollably when I was nervous. Once, I caught a massive error on a batch of letters we were sending out, and I was laughing while I told my boss we had to redo hours and hours of work. Not my finest moment, though luckily she understood.

It happened to me years ago when I was in 6th grade. My team lost a soccer match and everyone in my team were crying and stuff but me and my best friend could not handle the situation. We tried SO HARD not to laugh like I was literally tearing up from laughter and I could burst out laughing any second but luckily I played it off like I was crying lmao. I think one or two team mates noticed me laughing and joined in as well hdkdnsksj but other than that I played it off really good.

One time I was eating a cupcake and my sister said somethin funny, so I started choking a little since I was only eating the cupcake, no icing.

Also pretty sure she made my laugh while I was drinking water so I ended up spitting some water on myself cause I chocked/laughed.

One time my mom was telling me a funny story and I was drinking Starbucks. I started choking on my Frappuccino and I thought I was gonna die ;-;

In Restaurant we sometimes hear a funny laugh from some random person and my boyfriend
will either point it out to me (I laugh about pretty much anything) or he will do a weird face while
trying to immitate that laugh. Oh boy, I took once one hour to finish my food because I couldn't stop
laughing.. the service people must've thought I'm drunk :')
