I planted some bamboo on my island about a week ago (some from sprouts, and others I took the full-grown grove via fruit power), and haven't gotten a single bamboo sprout since then. At first I thought they had intentionally slowed down the spread of bamboo since it was so bonkers in new leaf, but now I'm thinking something has gone wrong somehow.
Have you gotten shoots? How many/often? Is there something I did wrong?
I have gotten some from full bamboo plants I took from the nook islands. It took a few days and it appears to be random when and how many you get. But I haven't gotten many. Make sure you dont have things near the plants. The shoots you have to dig up and they look like those crack things you see for fossils near the plants. (idk how they were in other games)
It may be seasonal. Bamboo shoots appear on my Southern Hemisphere island (currently in Autumn), but not my Northern Island. It may be related to how the young bamboo shoots can only be harvested in spring.
