Who enjoys gardening/plants?

i've got two indoor ivy plants that i look after. the first plant that i bought from ikea last year started trailing not long ago so i'm hyped about that : ]

Couple things to try if you want - seed tape, which has the seeds stuck on the tape, spaced out correctly. You just plant the strips of tape in rows. Or pelleted seeds. They put a coat on the seeds so they're a lot bigger.
I saw seed tape! But I never knew it had the seeds already taped in the roll. Shows how much I read into the description. I just thought this sounds way too complicated. Why would I waste the time trying to drop a seed on the sticky tape. 😅 I've had good yields with carrots and other single crops, but there's always a handful that grow together and get stunted. It's so hard to separate them by hand! If you're able to do that Betsy, you're amazing lol.
I wish I enjoyed gardening. Sadly I suffer badly from hayfever so it’s pretty miserable to be outside during the summer.
Maybe you could grow a few indoor plants? I'm currently growing cactus that I grew by seed. It's taken me maybe a year and half and they started off so tiny, but now they're getting bigger! Still looking like little babies though.

I've always had a love for plants and gardening. Some time ago with my limited space, I managed to grow cherry tomatoes and maintain a small herb garden, along with a few pansy plants that added a vibrant touch of colour! I really enjoyed tending to them, I found it relaxing, and it was such a joy to pick fresh tomatoes and herbs for cooking! Since then, I have had to downsize quite a bit, and now I care for just a few succulents that sit on my windowsill. Though small, they brighten up the space and are wonderfully easy to care for!
Cherry tomatoes are great to just eat! The plants grow so many omg that it's almost impossible to keep at it. I never tried it, but I heard they're really good dehydrated. I'm sure they are, because they'd have a bite-size pizza-y flavor.

I love being outside gardening. I love my flowers . It do relaxing taking care of my flowers .

I wish I could but I can’t even have flowers as I have an allergic cat 🙈😂💜 He also eats indoor plants which can’t be good for him. Sadly hopeless atm and need to stick to artificial plants and candles for now 💜

Maybe succulents could work if you really wanted to grow something? I don't know, but I always like how they looked/grew. And they're very forgiving.

I don't do any gardening at the moment but I know I would enjoy it if I just had the space and the money to do so 😩 Maybe some day but until then I shall live vicariously through all you green thumbs!!

I enjoy it. There's something really rewarding about growing stuff on your own. I was always inspired by my relatives as they'd always beautiful gardens.

I adore houseplants! Taking care of them is literally my favorite thing to do to unwind 🥰 I have over 100 now from carnivorous plants to the rare variegated ones and even little ones I just thought were neat. Surprisingly, I still have plants on my wishlist that I want to own someday. I'm thankful to live in an environment where it's naturally warm year round (99% of the time anyway) so that they can thrive outdoors too.

I'd love to try gardening one day! I already have a sweet potato plant that climbed out of its pot on the porch and took over a large chunk of my front yard. I wonder if there's anything to harvest from it. It's been there for years now, haha. I think maybe I'll start with herbs someday :)

For sure!

I absolutely love roasted cherry tomatoes! With a little bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper - they are so sweet and flavorful! A simple cheese and cherry tomato pizza is so good as well! Despite having just a small garden at the time, I would always end up with loads of cherry tomatoes. They’re so easy to grow! I used to make homemade pasta sauces with them, and store them in jars or bag and freeze them for later use. There’s something so special about cooking with tomatoes (or any vegetable or fruit) you have grown yourself!

I love plants! My grandparents had a vegetable garden with tomatoes, salad, pumpkin, cucumbers, different herbs but also various berries, fruit trees, grapes and stuff like that. I don't know if I would have the patient to do gardening myself but I totally adore houseplants. I love houses/flats with a lot of plants. It just makes it lively.

I absolutely love gardening and plants in general. I have a garden outside that I help take care of sometimes, and I also really love raising indoor succulents too. Succulents in general were a favorite plant of my mom's.

Succulents are awesome! I really love how they all grow so differently from each other. I don't really have any since I've been focusing on my main garden, but when I'm finished maintaining it this year, I would like to get a little shelf for a bunch of them 🎉

Maybe try an indoor herb garden in your kitchen that you can take care of and pick whenever you want to make something with it? I grew herbs outside and they grow fast and most are easy enough with the right amount of sun, water, and care. My sister had one and it was nice to see!

No. When I was younger my parents would make me water the yard and garden sections whenever my mom went on a trip. I hated that it would easily eat up two hours of my time.

I also don’t like dealing with mosquito bites, ants crawling up my legs, and my arachnophobia.

I enjoy gardening but this year nothing grew in our garden, the perilla is still small, tomatoes still green, the corn is miniature, I have mini squashes as well and it's not because of the seeds because my brother had the same seeds, same soil, and we started at the same time, and his garden is more in the North and he couldn't take care of it every day but his veggies grew well. I watered it every day when it was hot, gave it vitamins, nope....Although I don't know what my mom did meanwhile, sometimes she tries "tricks" learned on the Internet..

There are veggies that I never managed to grow, like carrots, radishes, spinach...I looked at Youtube videos from farmers and read on it, tried directly in the soil, in a box, in a bag... I just get super mini carrots, no radishes, ultra mini spinach that die right away.

It's sad because I only like super fresh carrots, I dislike those from the stores. When I was little I used to steal carrots in the neighborhood but I can't do that anymore :ROFLMAO:
