Bananas???

I seriously doubt anyone knows yet, but I’m really wondering if banana trees have made a return. I hope so, because I really need them on my island to fit my theme! Does anyone know for sure if they’re in the game? They brought back coconuts so I don’t see why they wouldn’t bring back bananas on an island.

Yeah it's part of why some people were pretty upset after the datamining leaks. Bananas, lemons, lychees, durians, mangos, and persimmons were cut from the game.

I find it pretty difficult to believe that they’re just gone. I understand there was a lot of fruits in NL, but it doesn’t make much sense to just have coconuts as the main/only tropical fruit. I’d imagine they might throw them in a DLC or something- that makes more sense than not having them at all.

But hey I could be wrong. If so, I’ll be pretty disappointed. But the game is still great even if I happen to be wrong.

I honestly feel like they will come back, but slower. In NL it was too easy just collect every fruit kind in 1 day. And once you have every fruit... then what, ya know? So hopefully they come back, but in a more tasteful style.
