Yes, this game came out a while ago, but I have only began to play it. This hack and slash video game is one of the few M games on the Wii U and it shows how awesome a M rated game can be. Ya but really, this game is rated M for a reason, blood, gore, the sheer fact that every time Bayonetta attacks she removes her clothes (only showing a part of her body).
GAMEPLAY
HACK N' SLASH, KICKING A*S, PRETTY DAM FUN, BATTLE GAME. That's basically what this game is about. You play as bayonetta, a witch from what I understand with insane powers. She can summon beast, cause mass mayhem, and of course, use her guns.

not impressed? Well then get out, that's one of the coolest attacks I ever seen to date. The controls are really easy to get used to, so this game can be mastered withen a few minutes. There are two controls modes, classic and touch, both can be easily mastered. Not to mention the new urban climax ability, WHICH MAKES YOUR ATTACKS EVEN MORE EPIC. Also there is some quick time events but those shouldn't bother you much...

STORY
I don't want to touch upon the story, but...
Basically Bayonetta and her friend Jeanne (white haired lady in the video) go out for Christmas shopping, Jeanne gets killed by Gomorrah, one of Bayonettas "pets" that goes rampaging. Bayonetta defeats her pet and is left with Jeanne's lifeless body. She then goes on a quest to revive her once more.
HOW REWARDING IT FEELS
I love this game to death, the enemies are strong but your stronger. Each combo makes you feel like you can do anything. Bashing baddies to the ground feels so "relaxing" for me, seeing their blood and limbs skittering all over the battlefield is just awesome... (I acted like a creep, forgive me)
OVERALL
I highly recommend this game to EVERYONE, although it is rated M I believe this game should be played by everyone. Just because it has blood and gore doesn't mean kids can't play it! I mean look at kids who play GTA 5! They seem REAL happy. Honestly though, this game is really unique, each enemy you defeat makes you feel powerful, something a game hasn't done for me in a long time. If your skeptical about buying the game, I suggest you get the demo on the eshop and try it out for yourself. You might be amazed how good this game is. If you go with the touch controls or the classic controls, this game will not bore you with it's awesome combat.
