be careful who u call ugly in middle school

I posted two pictures of myself on here, so you should know what I look like. (They're on the "What Do You Look Like?" thread)
I definitely look better than I did in middle school, especially because I work out a lot more than I did then.

I was constantly bullied for my looks in middle school. It didnt help that i didnt stand up for my self back then. Funny thing is that in High school I got swole and i stood up for myself and people didnt dare to bully me anymore. Moral of the story is Stand up for yourself youngins. It makes a huge difference on how your treated.

In high school I was hotter - thinner, too, more curves - but in first year my face still looked ugly. Third and fourth year is when I was really hot. Feminine face, dressed nice, nice curves.

Then I graduated and got ugly again & I have good style but because of my hyperthyroidism I've gained weight so I can't dress nice to reflect my style.

Writing this out has made me realize how much American beauty standards center on

1. Being THIN
2. Looking masculine/feminine based on your "sex" (at birth)

Don't blame America. You are part of it. Man in the mirror.

nah im still ugly
but to be fair... i looked so much worse in middle school. i had that middle-parted hair (it looks HORRIBLE on me), braces, non-matching socks, crap shoes, bad sense of style in general, im thankful for who i am now at least compared to back then

i've changed quite a bit but i'm still that one girl to wear hoodies everyday and a pair of leggings. not my fault it's cold as ****, who cares about how i dress anyway??

Yes I'm definitely much better looking now lmao, I learned how to do make-up and my dress sense isn't such a mess, although I still feel like I look **** most of the time. </3 Sucks being so self-conscious.

My plan is to become super hot so that everyone I went to school with forgets what a weenie I was

I'm still in middle school, I'm in 7th grade. I think I look fine, I'm a little chubby but oh well. I always have dark circles under my eyes though and it's like under my eyes the sun doesn't shine and it's like a deep ditch under there, which I hate. I'm a boy but I prefer how I look with makeup on (not lipstick or eyeshadow or eyeliner or anything like that).

There's this kid in my class that I can't even look at because his face is so ugly.

My face hasn't changed at all since I was 12. Hence why people think I'm in elementary school even though I'm in university.
My body hasn't changed much either, except for fluctuating about 10 pounds (so basically I go between looking ill and on the slim side of a healthy weight)
The only thing that has really changed are my clothes...in elementary/early high school I wore brightly coloured t-shirts and track pants, I wish someone would have stopped me. Now I wear nice sweaters and jeans.

Im on Middle School and by time i think there are many things that make me less prettier :( And im not sure if i will get better :'D

I used to be pretty okay in middle school. I had no idea how to properly use eyeliner or dress to my body time, but I like to think I have come miles from then. I think most of us start to learn about dress or look 'better', or at least more like ourselves, after middle school and even sometimes high school for some people.

I doubt there are many people who think they looked both amazing in middle school and just as good now and think they haven't made any improvements. For me personally, I can atleast say post-middle school was the tipping point of my skin going back to a normal, less-acne crazy stage.

I was bad in middleschool, and i'm better, but still really bad LOL

Lol, if I were to time travel to see my younger self, I would be the bully who bullied lil me.
The way I styled my hair, makeup, and how I worn arm warmers for ever outfit and thought the world was out to get me when they were concern with me warming warm arm warmers in the summer lawl
I'll square up
