Bell Tree Eras

but doubutsu no mori is n64....

Oh, Bell Tree didn’t exist back then. It didn’t even exist back when it was first released for the GameCube in the United States. In fact, I’ve been playing Animal Crossing for over a year by the time Bell Tree was created.

if we werent going by animal crossing game released i was gonna say that 2015 and early 2016 is its own era

Oh actually I just thought of another era, or perhaps sub-era. The Welcome amiibo update brought along new members (like myself) and a pretty big spike in activity that died down mid/late-2017. Everyone was trying to collect all the new items released and amiibo items, such as sanrio and more.

2015 and the first half of 2016 was wild with drama ngl

There’s drama all the time. Some times may be worse than others, but there’s always something going on.

Maybe I should update my original post to add sub-eras.

Hop boy, I joined so late in the current era. I wish I had joined alot earlier, looking back on all the cool collectables that I probably will never get.

i joined in an era where mafia could actually get 30+ members :lemon:

look who rose from the grave lel.

yeah i remember when those games were active af. not a game for me but it's fun reading them sometimes.

I remember when i first came onto Bell Tree and ReTail and other such threads were just crazy wild and full of people, although it has died down a little over the years it is interesting how it is today etc. I have noticed from the time i have gotten on the value of IGB here is dropping, like everyone has too many bells. TBT is easier to trade with, but yeah, intersting to see the change over the years.

I definitely know what you mean, I remember when certain items used to cost a absolute fortune (like Lucky Clovers for example) to acquire back in the early days of New Leaf! I think what has happened is that over these years, there has been natural inflation caused by many people playing the game legit, unnatural inflation caused by hacking/duping in the global AC community, and I also think the Welcome Amiibo update also caused a lot of items to be less valuable because they were easy to acquire once you scanned certain Amiibo. Due to this increased inflation over the years through natural and unnatural means, TBT has retained its value in comparison to IGB due to TBT being much more controlled which is why it is so much easier to trade with TBT these days. I do think though that once AC Switch comes out, the value of IGB for that game will start very high and then history will essentially repeat itself once again over time unless hacking is curbed really well since only the very first Switch revision is very vulnerable to hacking due to a hardware-related flaw. We will just have to see, it definitely is going to be an exciting time here on TBT once the new game comes around! :D
