I didn't really understand why it was banned in the first place... In any case, betting is no longer banned on TBT. We're talking betting with BELLS, of course. REAL MONEY GAMBLING is, of course, banned. However, if you want to, say, bet on sporting events or something with Bells, be my guest. If there are any disputes between members, however, no admins or mods are responsible.

Just be aware that staff will not gladly sort out problems that arise, nor transfer bells among a ton of people.
The ban on betting was originally put in place because bets would involve, say, 10 people all putting in different amounts of bells, and in the end no one could determine who owed who what, and it was not the staff's job to sort it out.
