Big Ol' Storm in California!

So this week we have a huge storm system here coming through California. Just today, the first real day of the storm, my whole town is flooding everywhere. Like literally a street down from my house is evacuated and my work is already opened as an evacuation center. (Like with the fires.)

So this morning I came home after my 10 hour shift and stayed up to get prepared to evacuate just in case so now we have all our stuff standing by to evacuate because we don't know what is going to happen these next few days of the storm. We were basically trapped in this lower part of our housing community for the better part of the day because all our creeks were flooding near the only exits we have, so it's been a super fun day of anxiety. At least I got two hours of sleep!

So I was wondering if anybody else is dealing with this lovely inclimate weather! If so I hope you're all safe!

Finally some rain
I grew up on the east coast, so this is like nothing to me haha. I'm so glad we finally get some rain It's too dry here

We've gathered about 1 foot of snow here in Utah. At least wehre I am.

We were supposed to have freezing rain today, but all it did was snow >.<

School was canceled Thursday and Friday due to the cold temperatures (the high the past few days has been like 3* F) and also the snow.

Today, I just went back to Santa Cruz for college. It's raining so hard, and the highway was def scary to drive. I've seen at least 4 car accidents. Couple of hours ago, my parents called me that a big old tree just collapsed at the freeway, so they are stuck there on the highway to go back home.

It's been raining, freezing rain, hailing, and snowing all day. I dislike this weather more than a hot summer day
