Blathers really wasn't Blathers when he just talked... normal. He needs to not shut up.
 
Yay!!! This has to be my favorite news -- it shows that they've been actually listening to our feedback all of these years.
 
Blathers actual rant when donating a cockroach in Wild World. :)

Fantastic!!! I'm so happy! So much of my excitement at finding a new fish/bug/fossil was anticipating hearing new dialog from Blathers

I'm all for the NPCs getting their unique spice back.

That's awesome.

I was playing New Leaf the other day for the first time in a while and I forgot that he didn't blather in those games, so I made sure to donate the items individually. It was definitely a let down when he said the same thing for each one.
 
I'm so happy that Blathers is going to blather once more! :) In ACNL I never saw him blather like in other games and so everything felt the same whenever I donated anything but now that Blathers well... blathers, being able to hear more about the thing I donated helps me learn more and feels like it was worth it to donate things to the museum :)
 
Ahh, yes! I’m glad they’re bringing this back. I will never understand why they took it out of NL. They gave us Kapp’n’s long ass songs, but they deprived us of Blathers’ actually vaguely educational parts. It’s what we deserve
 
Awesome! I miss hearing him talk in Wild World and I'm sooooo glad he has this back! I will definitely say yes to him when he asks if I want to hear him talk about the things I donate to him! :D
 
Oh that's wonderful! He barely felt like himself in New leaf, it was so sad... I'm thrilled to have him back the way he should be. And having us agree or disagree to listen is really such a simple and effective idea, I'm surprised they didn't just do that with the last game!
 
I’m really looking forward to finally experiencing that!
My first game was NL, and I always wished he’d tell us all the details. Aside from adding to his character, I’ll also be much more likely to learn something that way—getting the info on the spot would be different than having to go around and read all the descriptions.
 
Really ? I don't remember he wasn't explain that kind of things in NL... but it's nice he can express himself again !
 
Blathers is going to be his cute overly enthusiastic self! I love him for his enthusiasm and he was extremely lacklustre in NH... It was like he was dead inside... |艸`)うぷぷw
