So there is this guy that is friends with me but we don't follow each other on instagram or have a steak on snapchat but today was stange:

At lunch I wanted to talk a walk and asked if he wanted to come with me. He said i don't know. Then I went to sit with my friends at lunch and he went somewhere. I was sitting in the cafeteria and saw him walk in the caf to get food so I walked up to him and asked if we are going on the walk he said I don't know and then said aren't you hanging out with your friends and walked out of the caf. What happened is he upset with me? I'm I being clingy? What should I do? We are mutual friends btw. So what should I do

I think you're overreacting. Maybe he just wants to be alone. If you're mutual friends, you shouldn't really see this as a sign of you being clingy. He just doesn't want to go. Period.

His response is kinda vague. If you are both comfortable enough, it's better to approach and talk about it with him so you won't have this "what if" or anxious feeling going through your mind.

I think you're probably feeling a bit sensitive at the moment. Although it does sound like there is sow thing going on with him. Whenever I'm a bit upset or annoyed my stock standard response to most things would probably be 'I don't know'.

Really, just sit down and chat to him. Say you are worried you have upset him and as his friend you really hope that's not the case. That's if you're comfortable enough to do that of course. He may well just have a lot on his mind or need some time to himself. I would try talking to him about it and then giving him a little space

Why would I ask my friends what's wrong with them when I can ask strangers on the internet?

He's a mutual friend? As in, someone who is a friend of a friend? Or someone who is your friend, but you're not particularly close with? Not to be terribly rude, but since you don't talk on social media or have a... streak (I'm honestly not sure what that is) on snapchat, he's probably a little confused that you randomly asked to walk with him. There's honestly not much we at the bell tree can do though, it's just kinda a personal situation, and we have little idea of this guy and his personality, or how the situation panned out. ^_^
