Brawl Countdown

...dude, seriously. Can I spell this out easier? I'll try. The first (1) is showing what would happen if everything was on time. The second (2) shows what happens if it is delayed.

1) Everything is planned out for the game (all the features, etc.). The workers do everything on time.

2) Everything is planned out for the game (all the features, etc.). The workers don't do everything on time and finish it later.

Okay, first of all why the hell does a company have to "announce" everything about their game. Second, the only difference between the 2 things above is that the workers couldn't do their job in time. THEREFORE that means EVERYTHING they had planned for the first one is used in the second one. NO DIFFERENCE. They don't add extra features. Or let's believe that, oh and the tooth fairy gave me money last night and I saw Santa and his flying reindeer.
If one were to say this, one would have to be on the inside of the company and observe all that is going on. If there is a delay, it means that they are adding NEW material, or that the material they have is unexpectedly taking too long to make. If you don't know how the workers are progressing and how the project is being carried out, then you can't say the workers are slacking off.

Exactly what I'm saying. You can't assume they're slacking off. You may never know. They could also have found a major bug. Who know?

Remember guys: This may be the Wii's first huge ONLINE gane, and previous titles did not disappoint. My possible idea of delay.

So they aren't extra, they are just delayed features from laziness/incompetence.
Oh yeah, because as we all know its easy to program/make a game, and not being able to do something in time is being lazy.

No, I'm just saying, it's not extra features. That's the main point.

Actually, SN, extra features get added as development goes. Things don't always go as planned.

I'm with S_N on this. If it's gone gold in Japan, I highly doubt we'll be getting ectra features over them, so therefore it's probably not extra features they're adding if it is indeed delayed as the rumors suggest.

I seriously doubt this delay. Brawl is already finished. They're just making copies of the game for launch.

Unless they're going to add something special for US, there's no reason to delay it.

Okay, whatever.
Ohhh, but if a game's already gone gold in one territory, it probably won't get added features in another territory.

I wouldn't rule anything out, though. Final Fantasy XII: Revanant Wings for DS got some new features for the US version that weren't in the Japanese game.
