Bug help!! Stick insect

So I am from the northern hemisphere and for all northern hemispheres we only have this month to catch the stick insect but i believe i have not even seen it yet have you guys catch it yet? if so can you guys give me some tips? i fell super lost with this bug man

if it is still available (i thought it was leaving for the beginning of november in nothern hem, that's why i rushed to try and get one myself before october finished), then i'm going to tell you the exact things i did.

you wont come across a stick bug easily, but you may have and just startled it. they're extremely sensitive to movement, so you need to have a clear visible view of your tree trunks in order to tell it's there, and get your net ready and waiting before approaching it. i had to catch a few bugs in the area i was trying to make it spawn; by catching the butterflies and grasshoppers that were around, i tried to make my game spawn in more bugs. i did this specifically around a lot of trees in hopes of getting a stick bug on one of them.

it also has to be between 4 AM-8 AM or 5 PM-7 PM for the stick to even spawn.

TYVM! One more question does it spawn in grown trees or do i need to cut them down ?

I've only seen it spawn on grown trees (the tree trunks). The one time I've run into it was on a palm tree while shooting down balloons along the beaches, so I recommend staying as close to the shoreline as possible to avoid accidentally scaring it off, like I did.

leave your trees standing; they need to be able to go on the trunk of the tree, so it needs to be in tact. they'll spawn on any trunk, i believe; i've seen it on the coconut trees, as well as the cedar and hardwood. i'm not too sure about your fruit tree trunks however.

I found mine on a coconut tree at 5AM. They seem to be more common in the early morning hours.

you have to walk sloooowly, preferably with the net equipped and ready to swing. I've scared off multiple because I wasn't being careful enough. I believe it's a pine and cedar exclusive bug as well, so don't bother looking on coconut trees. If you're having trouble spawning them, I'd scare off or catch the other bugs you see around so it helps the stick bug spawn.

i managed to catch mine between the 5 PM - 7 PM interval - i don't wake up that early, and i don't TT

Same covid made me a marmot groundhog at 5 am i am sound a sleep until 9 i am dead to the world hahah

Ill def try tomorrow morning to try to get some luck, haven't woken up at 7 am in a looong time man, healthy tips from the game. BTW is it easy to find in the island?

Honestly, I just have a really incosistent sleep schedule. Being an insomniac doesn't help much, either. They're a little difficult to notice, but I found mine after about 30 minutes of looking around.

So i dont TT but i did this small TT to tonight 5 am and went to the island got rid of the cherries and will you know that i got an insta stick bug !!! yeah sorry to disappoint guys with COVID my sleep schedule is messedup but im trying to slowly move towards normal schedule ahahaha. Honestly, changing the time but remaining on the same day isn't really 'huge' TT stuff to me and this is coming from someone who generally tries not to do it either.
