Bunny Day event fish and bugs

Hello,

I was wondering if it was even possible to catch fish and bugs for April during this event rather than eggs, lol. I just started basically, and want to make progress on the museum.

I have. for the fish i find it easier to use bait in one spot over and over to get less eggs. or at least it appeared to be that way with me.

i’ve caught some bugs and fish but maybe it’s be best to wait until the event is over to try and catch new ones as the egg spawn rate seems pretty high ;u;

Good idea. Thanks! Unfortunately, I only just started, so I can't get the shovel for Manilla clams Am I going to miss out on anything? I see that there has been an update to fix some glitches for fish or something during Bunny Day?

You definitely can! While I've caught my fair share of eggs, I've caught everything but the guppy, surgeon fish and snapping turtle, so it's just a matter of RNG I'm afraid.

Haven't tried that yet. Maybe I will give it a go today.

the egg you catch in the water is actually all the same size. they are small-medium size. if you want to avoid eggs just avoid that size. Now that were in april there is about 2 different fish you can now catch in the river and sea from my experience. hope that helps!

Yeah, that piece of advice was REAL helpful when my challenge from CJ today was to catch 3 fish of those size in a row lol.
It is pretty good advice though.

Another thing is that I seem to get a LOT more eggs from river fishing that sea fishing, so if you wanna avoid as many eggs as possible, go tossing fish bait off your dock.
