step #1 don't buy any collectibles besides from the shop or really good deals (I can't tell you how much I regret spending 900 on a pumpkin cupcake)

Don't quite get what the big thing with collectibles is. Then again, I also got my first cake today from a giveaway, and I strangely find myself wanting to collect more. Hence, this.

you can post on certain sections of the forum, sell in game items, commissions, enter giveaways, etc
I got my tbt from commissions mostly, and selling some collectibles, and a few in game items.
