I was curious if it was possible to have a completely grass-less town.
Would the grass grow back too quickly?

I've been thinking about having an island town with just palm trees.

uh you would have to run everywhere. like everywhere every day to prevent grass from growing back
well not everyday but enough to kill the grass yeah

and palm trees can only grow on the beach if you didnt know

You could kill the grass a bit quicker by making and destroying extra characters houses. And judging the state of my grass it wouldn't be too difficult to keep it grassless once you've got that far. ~ Though yes, no palm trees.
Though I will warn that if you TT it'll grow back pretty fast. ~ I've noticed on my spare town that if a villager moves out and I set the date 2 weeks ahead their dirt patch instantly disappears. o:
