Can We Eventually Remodel Villager Interiors On Our Island?

Yes, but they have to ask you. You can’t just remodel any villager’s interior when you feel like it. They’ll ask you to design their interior for them.

Once they ask you, can you change anything you want?

As long as you have HHP and progress far enough in it to unlock the ability to do so, then yes, you can change their homes, both interior and exterior. All you have to do is ask Tom Nook to change their house. There's no limitations, everything can be changed.

Yeah, I wasn’t sure about the exteriors either. I knew it was possibly mechanically, because I easily can with the hacking program—but I still thought they might not allow it to preserve some of the villager’s “style”.

I did see some screenshots of it though, so it’s definitely confirmed!

do we have to fill their homes with items we already own or will we have limitless possibilities like we do when decoracting island homes?

You design it using the same catalog you use on HHP
