Have they confirmed this or have said anything about this?
I would like to eventually get rid of them if I didn?t like them.

They didn’t say anything about that, but that would be awesome!

I wonder if the option "Discuss a resident" that pops up when speaking with Isabelle (19:15 in Direct) will allow us to do that very thing.

While they didn't confirm anything about this, I'm pretty sure you can move them out at least at some point. Maybe not directly at the beginning, as they did said somewhere (if I remember correctly) that the two starter villagers are like your two best friends since you end up with them together on the island and such. But I guess they will not force you to stick with them forever.

I think that will be to change their clothes or rude letters like in NL.

I hope so..

I’m sure it will be like “Well, it’s been a nice vacation! Maybe I should head home now?” And you can say yes or no?

i hope so - unless one of my starters is one of my dreamies, i don’t really wanna be stuck with them forever aha

If we can relocate them and it's one I want that would be awesome, otherwise hopefully I can amiibo them out.

correct me if I'm wrong...but didn't they say at E3 that the first two villagers can move out, but don't move out as easily as "normal" villagers?

What if we boot them out via an amiibo?
I doubt I'd get a starter that I want, and would hope I could get rid of the starters I end up settling for.

I highly doubt my starters will end up being my dreamies, so I'm really hoping I can amiibo them out. We've always been able to move starters before, so I don't see why it would change now. (But now I'm kind of worried...)

I highly doubt they will take away moving. It's been such an integral mechanic of the game series since the very beginning. Why would you be forced to be stuck with two villagers you may not like? That makes no sense, especially with Nintendo seemingly making New Horizons so oriented to being the player's vision.

I'm sure, as with all villagers, they will ask to move once you reach full capacity. Just don't ignore them. Villagers can't ping you if you go into stranger mode. In New Leaf, this only took 3 days of ignoring.

I have a feeling I might get attached to my first two regardless of who they are ;_; that happened with my other towns in ACNL. But I’m sure they will move out eventually like usual though. With this much customisation involved I don’t think that they would just lock two random villagers in forever.

Nope. That?s close but not exact. They said the first 2 villagers can move out, but you can?t force them out (just like any villager IMO)

Could be by resetting, if it's even an option. For me, whatever villagers i'm going to have, i'll keep them. I'm trying to love all of them

I assume you?ll be able to move them out at some point, or they?ll ask to leave like in other games
