Guys

I have some easy questions I need answer to. The more response the merrier!

1. Will mystery island villager appear again because all 5 of my villagers have moved in (Town Hall being build
today)? And if so, how many can I recruit (all 4 left)?
2. What do you guys do with your duplicate fossils, do you keep or sell them?
3. What is the KK slider portrait music in Nook Shopping for? What music is play in the portable DJ player item?
4. Why is the tree now just blossom? We were in spring this entire time?
5. Where can I go to get up to date with New Horizon news?
6. What is this Sakura stuff? Does it have anything to do with blossom or Earth day?
7. What time does CJ and Flick show up and how long do they stay?
8. How does Bunny day compare to New Leaf/Wild World holidays?

Thanks

1. Villagers begin showing up on islands again after your 6th villager which is your campsite villager. When you build the campsite after town hall is made you NEED to invite that villager in in order to continue the "story" progression and after they move in you'll see villagers on islands again.

2. I usually sell them but if I know a friend needs that fossil I give it to them!

3. If you have a sterio item you can buy those KK slider albums and put them in your sterio. Each day new music appears on the nook shopping app on the terminal!

4. Its cherry blossom season which is why they're in bloom now. I think after April 10th theyll go back to normal again.

5. I just check this site for news! I also follow the official twitter account.

6. It has to do with the cherry blossoms flying around in the sky! Catch them with your net and try to get recipes from balloons and villagers.

7. They show up from 5am to 5am. The day doesnt matter it's just random similar to other visiting npcs.

8. From what I remember Bunny Day is a lot longer this year and from what i understand you have to craft the furniture now rather than get it from Zipper himself.

1. Mystery island villagers will appear again after you are given the opportunity to purchase plots of land from Nook. You must have an open plot available for villagers to spawn on island tours, and you can only recruit one villager from an island tour per day.

2. I keep the ones I want to assemble somewhere around town and sell the others

3. Those are KK songs. You can listen to them in any music player besides the portable radio. The portable radio, from what I can tell, plays a random selection of KK songs (like a real radio)

4. Yes it's spring in the northern hemisphere, but the trees starting to blossom is related to the cherry blossom event that started yesterday alongside the Bunny Day event.

5. Most gaming websites will have news about it. Pick your poison, really.

6. It has to do with the blossoms. You make the items out of the petals you see floating around.

7. They come to your island on a random day and stay there for a full 24 hours.

8. No idea, I don't know what the event is like in those games.

Krissi You rock!

Thank you for such quick and well answer reply!

Look like I bought 6 Nook tickets for no reason since RS is being build today so no access to ABD machine.
I was hoping I could scout ahead days before I set down my plot.

How do the item on Bunny Day compare to past games?

Lastly so if blossom end on the 10th...and we are in spring, what the different between spring and summer
landscape wise? In fall, the leaves are falling and are more drab color, and in winter it white, so what seperate
spring from summer landscape wise?

Does the villager show up on the 2nd day of having the campsite established? Like the day 0: designate the site. day 1: it's built. day 2: villager shows up?

And does anyone know if it's possible to use the old NL trick of avoiding a save where you create a 2nd character, check out the villager and see if it's one you want, and if it isn't you close the game and reset?

Thanks Misty

So only one villager a day, bummer, now I know.

Hi I can't answer them all but I hope it helps.
1) sorry I don't know
2) fossils will always duplicate.
3) you can buy them and put them in the player. you can put the furniture outside or inside!
4) cherry blossom happens usually from april to june (at least in the other games) so it just happened :)
5) you can follow nook's twitter. google: tom nook @animalcrossing
6) yep! it's an eventcatch the cherry blossom with your net and find recipes.
7) in new leaf cj and flick came summer and fall so they might not come yet.
8) I like it. Some people thinks he's mean but I like him.

hope this helps!

Once you have villager 6 from the campsite, Nook will let you place land plots which determine where future houses move into. Mystery island villagers will appear after this.

My island is fossil/dinosaur themed! I keep them. They are currently in storage until I have terraformed the place to a level I am happy with.
3. What is the KK slider portrait music in Nook Shopping for? What music is play in the portable DJ player item?
I assume it's to buy the music to play. You may need an actual CD player item rather then just a radio to be able to play the music in your house, though. Unsure on that, though, so don't take me for my word.
4. Why is the tree now just blossom? We were in spring this entire time?
Given that the blossoms come with blossom catching and blossom DIY recipes, I assume it was to stop people being overwhelmed by putting them in the middle of an 'event' right at the start of the game. Whether it was a better idea to hold of so two events were running at the same time at the start of April remains to be seen (but I know many others think the answer to that is 'no'.)
5. Where can I go to get up to date with New Horizon news?
I follow a couple of Animal Crossing news oriented Instagram accounts who post the news there. I also get it straight from this forum.
6. What is this Sakura stuff? Does it have anything to do with blossom or Earth day?
Sakura is another name for the blossoms. If you mean the little petals floating around that you can catch, they are ingredients for the blossom DIY recipes. It is nothing to do with Earth Day as far as we can tell.
7. What time does CJ and Flick show up and how long do they stay?
When they show up - I have no idea, they are always there when I load up my game which is around 10am. Flick mentioned that he would leave at 5am the following day, so I assume CJ is the same.
8. How does Bunny day compare to New Leaf/Wild World holidays?
I like the Bunny Day event a lot, it's fun hunting for eggs and recipes and trying to complete everything. Much more fun than previous games. Before, I felt like I could just ignore an event day and nothing really happened. Now, it's in front of me, asking me actively to take part so HECK yes I will take part. I feel like I'm mostly alone in this opinion though.

If you still have those Nook tickets, you could save them for later. :)

Also jiojiop, unfortunately I think that people confirmed that that doesn't work due to the autosave feature.

Yeah but I didn't need to buy them now. I still have 12K miles remaining so I'm okay.
