Today was day 2 of my new light blue roof, and to my surprise, I had a new blue rose. First new blue rose in a month or so. Still not convinced, but I'm going to keep trying to see if there's anything consistent to it.leelu said:Well my roof was light blue today, and I got no new hybrids at all. In fact, half of my blue hybrids were wilting! I'll give it a few more days to see what happens. At least this is something else I can try, I didn't really feel like changing my roof color before, but now I have something to look for!
Sweet, I'll try it.leelu said:OK, my roof was back to purple today, and I had a lot of new hybrids! I only had 1 new purple hybrid, though, a purple pansy. I also got an orange rose, a pink cosmos, and a pink tulip.
I'm gonna keep trying the roof thing out. Even if it's not color specific, I seem to be getting more hybrids consistently than I was without changing it.
Day 2 of my purple roof yielded only 1 orange rose. Tomorrow my roof will be white.leelu said:OK, my roof was back to purple today, and I had a lot of new hybrids! I only had 1 new purple hybrid, though, a purple pansy. I also got an orange rose, a pink cosmos, and a pink tulip.

After reading this thread I think it is actually quite likely....I'll try it out!SAMwich said:Seems unlkely to work but I'll give it a shot.
