Casa de Muertos [Roleplay]

There is a place called Casa de Muertos. It used to be a beautiful city, with sandstone roads and shimmering blue canals. After a plague wiped out all of the ancient city's inhabitants, Casa de Muertos descended into darkness. Surrounded by a dense forest, the city was hidden from us for thousands of years. However, the city has recently been discovered, and the government is sending in a team of seven specially-trained agents to rebuild the city. A two-floor shelter has been built for them, and they must investigate and reconstruct. There are many secrets that have been hidden in Casa de Muertos, however...

I head towards the destination, keeping my namesake close(y'know cause his name is Light). When I reach it... it's amazing.

The journey is quite long, so when I arrive, I notice that someone else is already here. He looks slightly younger than me, possible two or three years younger? I walk over to him, and introduce myself. "Hello! I'm Megumi, May I ask who you are?"

"Light." I say, extending my hand to Megumi. "I'm 19." I say again, unsure if she works for the government. "Are you from around these parts?"

I shake his hand. "Actually, I've only been here once, a week or two ago."

"Me too!" I blink my eyes twice, the signal to members of our team that we make in public.

I see him blink twice rapidly, indicating that he is from the government team, so I do the same to confirm that I am too. Hopefully the others arrive soon...

I push through the forest, following the directions to this city. I can see a yellow path up ahead; I follow it. I can see two people already there, standing near a building that is different from the rest. That must be the shelter they built for us.

Rather than stand outside waiting for the rest of the team to arrive, I walk inside the shelter and look around, making sure I know where everything is.

I go inside behind her. The shelter isn't in the best condition. The walls have cracks in them, the tables coated with dust. The kitchen was decrepit. "I guess we could fix this place up." I sigh.

 

[TheCreeperHugz]

I moan, seeing all of the cracked walls and dusty stuff. "I thought the shelter that we were going to be staying in was supposed to be in good condition, so we had a functional base? I guess we'll have to clean up in here before we can do anything else..."

 

[Pathetic]

"This..is..so...boring!" I grumble, "Y'know I'm trained and everything but WHAT'S with this forest?" Before long, I arrive at the shelter, "I wonder if anyone is inside?" I squint, trying to make out a figure. I walk up to the shelter, "Two story, huh?" My eyes wander around the building for a little, and I sees a one or two boy(s). "Uh..hello?"
