Celebratory Candles... are finally back!

It was so hard... Two weeks, maybe more... we haven't had celebratory candles. I was really devastated... but they came back!
I'm so happy, so grateful. What a magnificent item, we had this almost three months, it's not enough - we should have those forever.

Yeah I think this is what the first post is about. I had honestly forgotten Nook's had seasonal items outside of events. From this season I can only remember the candles and the round heater. I guess it would've been nice to have more? But then again I don't remember there being a lot of items in summer, like we had surfboards and a fan, and that's all I remember.

I can understand op's frustration, candles are nice but to see the same 1 or 2 items being sold everyday for three months is kinda... Idk, ridiculous? Pointless? Like there's nothing wrong with them but I've seen them so many times I genuinely forgot these were supposed to be special seasonal items, so what's the point of having them that long? We don't even get different color variants, I haven't bought any because the color I got is not my taste.

true. But to be fair, most of the craftable items were Christmas themed. I think they were trying to be inclusive by making it easier to access decor for other holidays.

Of course, and I think it's a good idea. But it is kinda funny to see them reappear right after festivale items, all the way into mid-february. Now I'm curious to know how the devs choose the seasonal items

The round space heater IS a thing of beauty, the cosy vibes it gives off are off the charts!
Lol now I regret not buying more than one, you could make some fun stuff. Like a sauna, or a tanning booth, or a giant oven room (chicken villagers I'm looking at you)

For me the problem is that the candles seem out of place. They closely resemble Kwanzaa, and seem to make the most sense to obtain in December-January. Unless I'm missing the point of them, it's odd to get them in February.

What's strange is the Wiki claims the theme of the candles is considered Spooky by the HRA

honestly, i kind of miss seeing the festivale furniture when i go into nook’s cranny but i don’t mind the candles or the space heater. having more than just 2 seasonal items would be nice, though. ^^

Finally, a fellow Round space heater fan, I thought I was the only one out there...

Now that I think about it, I start to kinda miss seeing the Festivale items showing up there already. :/

I hate those candles.

No disrespect to the culture or religion. But, you could straight-up buy the menorah...and I NEVER got a festive tree for the entirety of the holiday season. I kept trying and trying, and the balloons never came. The frozen set and certain other holiday items coming from balloons is fine...but, the festive tree should have been sold in the spotlight corner and rotated out with the menorah. I grew to hate the celebratory candles just because they were ALWAYS there. Day after day of trying and failing to obtain a regular old Christmas tree...I would see those candles in the corner, almost laughing at me.

(Outside of all holidays) In the summer, they sell Surfboards and Fans. In the winter, they sell candles and space heaters

It's actually more of a kinara, which is used to celebrate Kwanzaa. It holds 7 candles. The menorah, which is used for Hanukah holds 9 candles.
