Resident Night Mare
Salem is beginning to take shape. Well, it was before, but a few new things have opened up/been built, which makes it seem nicer.
Club LOL has finally opened. Unfortunately, it won't open until tonight, so I missed K.K. Slider last night. *sigh* At least we have a night spot now.
I also noticed a large blue tarp surrounding the Able Sisters' shop. Hammering is coming from upstairs, which can only mean that Shampoodle will be opening tomorrow! I like my pink hairdo, but I might change my eyes, so that will be nice.
Donations for the first lamp post by the fountain were paid off, so that has been completed. When I went to drop off some fossils to Blathers, he asked me if I could work on opening a café for his friend Brewster. I spoke to Isabelle, and we set up a spot near the entrance to town. A little far from my house for morning coffee, but pretty central for everyone and just across the path from the campsite, so it should attract plenty of attention. I just need to cut down a couple of trees that are right in front and lay the cobblestone path to the door. Oh yes, and come up with the 298,000 bells to pay for it.
I've almost paid off the loan for the final upgrade on the left-hand room of my house. I should manage that today/tonight with some beetles and sharks. I think I'll build the basement next, just so I have someplace to store things; my dresser is getting full! Besides, that isn't a terribly expensive upgrade, so I can pay it off quickly. Then I have the right-side and back rooms to enlarge, as well as the second floor. I did order a new fence yesterday, though. The Fairy Tale Fence was available. It was in place this morning. All that is left is the mailbox now and I'll have a complete Fairy Tale castle. I suppose I should think about creating extra houses. Plus, if I have new characters, I can get more mannequins from Sable, which they would give to me, of course.
I got conned by Redd yesterday, buying a fake Robust Statue. I'm going to send it to Mathilda. I don't think she'll mind, and it is pretty.
Spending the day over on the island to get a tan. There isn't really anything for sale at the shop I want today; I was really hoping for more hibiscus bushes. Maybe tomorrow. I suppose I should work on upgrading the Nooklings' so that Leif will sell bushes, too. So much to do!
