Bug off vs. fishing tourney?

I like the fishing tourney more as I enjoy fishing in game a lot more than catching bugs.

i don't do either tbh. i only did at first for the novelty and i much prefer bug catching over fishing.

I don't really care for either of them. Once I got all the achievements and did them a few times, they got kind of old. Though if I had to choose, I would choose the Bug-Off. It's more relaxing and I like how you're not restricted to a particular species of bug

I like the bug off more. It’s definitely easier and since it always takes forever for fish to finally bite. I do like them both better in NL. I like the idea of competing with the villagers instead of just by myself. There are a couple of prizes I like from them but I liked the NL prizes better.

I don't like fishing in pretty much any game, so Bug-Off wins by default. I do genuinely enjoy the event, though.

in general I prefer fishing in the games but whenever it comes to the tourneys I like the bug-off better, often find it slightly more relaxing as a competition, though after taking part in each a couple of times I very rarely do either of them again.

They're both great, but I think the Bug-Off is the best. Except for the "luster" quality Nat is looking for. It's always so random.

I way prefer the bug-off, because you can actually see what you're catching and I find it easier to prepare for.

i’ve always preferred catching bugs so bug off is the winner to me. i feel like i run out of patience faster when it comes to fishing

I prefer the bug off, it's much more fun to catch the bugs and easier to go for certain prizes.
