Changing House Style

Hi, I'm wondering if I change my house's exterior style will I ever be able to change it back? Nook is selling the Modern house style and I have enough to buy it, but if I don't like it can I ever revert back to a normal house?

Also, if I buy it will my custom roofs, fence, etc. stay or will they revert to normal with the new house style?

Of course! He also offers the original house style and house parts in his store. So if you don't like something, just buy the original version. Your custom house parts will stay if you buy a new style.
