Changing username capitalization

hello!! If I buy the username change item in the shop, does it need to be different from my current one, or can I use it to change the capitalization from lovis -> iovis?

I am assuming you can since there are usernames with lowercases however I don't know if it will block you from doing it due to the username currently existing.

That’s an interesting question. I’d definitely ask staff—maybe if the system won’t allow it due to the name already existing, they’d make an exception and change it twice for the cost of one. Seems reasonable enough that they’d consider that imo.

I thought simple capitalization changes were something that the staff could do for you for free. I might totally be wrong about that but hopefully a staff member could clear it up.
