So, today has been an eventful day! I got my town development pass back, met Tortimer and actually started being nice to Gigi and Sylvia!
So, let me explain my sudden change of heart. I found out that villager pictures are available in New Leaf and I want as many as I can get my hands on (even if that means having a picture of an ugly frog!). I'm not gonna let anyone leave unless I have a little picture of them. I went to Gigi's house to apologise, and she asked me to get her an apple. I ran off to get it for her, and as I did, Pinky asked to come over my house. I said 'sure', and we went to mine, before I raced to Gigi and delivered the apple. She gave me a pop-up book in return though. She's actually quite nice, and I'm ashamed that I didn't even give her a chance before. I judged her before I even spoke to her! I'm going to give Sylvia a chance too. I'm sure she's actually friendly, like Gigi.
A new housing plot has been reserved to the right of my house. It's someone named Phil. I'm upset that he decided to build his house right there, but I won't let that affect my relationship with him. I'm going to have to work hard to get these villager pictures!
I dug up four fossils, donated them to the museum and then went fishing down at the shore. I saw an old turtle on the beach, which turned out to be Tortimer, the previous Mayor of Fourleaf! He said that starting tomorrow, a boat would be able to take me to his private island! Apparently, there's money to be made there from the rare sharks and bugs that spawn. Exciting!
I got my town development permit and Isabelle explained about ordinances and PWPs. I decided to build a suspension bridge to allow easy access to other parts of town. I haven't donated anything yet. I went to Main Street to do some shopping and bought a cello and a dress. They're both really nice!
I'm off to amaze my villagers with my friendliness now, in the hope that they will forgive me for my appalling behaviour the past couple of days... I want pictures!!
