For the avatar:
I definitely just want it to be me. Plain and simple! c:
Similar to your examples in your OP, I want to be able to use just a portrait for an avatar where it's needed and a whole body shot wherever it'll fit! Like for my 'About Me' page or something.
For the banner:
To preface, you don't need to do the whole banner. Just an image I want to put on a white background with text above it. If you can draw me and cats?
If you can do these two pretty pictures for my blog, I'll gladly throw my wallet at you. <3
You probably didn't even need 90% of that information but I'm glad you made it to the end. :3
I especially love that your art style is very obviously inspired by Animal Crossing, but it doesn't "steal" enough of it to be considered a copyright problem, it's still very much *your* style. So whether my blog says non-commercial or ends up being commercial, I think I could still use it! o:
(that's also why I'm retiring my original hopes and dreams of having AC characters on the banner in favor of me and my cats, lol.)

It also needs to fit on Pinterest, Facebook, Google+, and Twitter. But I'm sure it will if it fits okay on my blog. c:

I've had a new vision. I wanna put the text up over/behind a picture of me and my 2 cats on a sofa. With me so far? lol
So that would be:
Bandit, my little girl cat, only desires attention when I'm doing something (naturally) so she'd be best suited to be rubbing her head against my arm or pawing at my arm.
Dustmop, my little boy cat, is a loaf and he just likes to sleep near people. He should be all stretched out, either with his head in my lap or his feets pushing on my side. Because cats.
Her eyes are a sunflower yellow; his eyes are emerald green. Just in case you needed it, lol.
You're probably not doing the text, too, and that's fine! But I want the drawing to be able to go underneath the header text (which will either be "Sensitive Gaming" or "Gaming with RR-PTSD")
And to go off to the right a little bit, so it doesn't get cut out by the display photo on bookface.
That said: In order to fit it all on the bookface cover photo - the actual drawing could probably only be about 500px wide by 250 px tall, at max?
I dunno, I included the bookface cover photo cheat-sheet picture for you to look at as well.

I just want something cute and sweet, and that it's very obviously meant for a gaming blog.
So that would be:
- A cream or beige sofa (I love light neutral colors, but whatever color contrasts the best!)
- Put me in the middle
- My cats on either side of me
- And something in my hands or lap, like a pink/white 3DS XL, or a silver laptop, or a Wii U controller, or something that you could otherwise immediately recognize as "She's trying to play a game and her cats won't let her" lol
