I usually call them chicken fingers
BUT
fun fact
chicken tenders has legal meaning and you can't call them chicken tenders unless they're relatively unprocessed and clean chicken meat
That's why at some restaurants if you ask for chicken tenders they'll be like:
"fingers?"
"yes, the tenders."
"you want fingers?"
"the chicken tenders, yes."
"fingers?"
"yes, chicken fingers."
"ok."

I have never, ever heard them called chicken tendies. Chicken tenders, chicken strips, chicken fingers...I've heard all of those and probably a few others, but never chicken tendies.

I never heard of a "chicken tender" and this stupid word ruined my day.

My phone auto corrected to tender because no one says chicken tendie! (T^T)

LOL tendies.

We call them chicken fingers here.

I love (and hate) "chicken tendies". I'd use it too.

I always use cutified names for stuff with some friends. Schnitzel -> Schnitzi, Kn?del -> Kn?di etc.

Your friend isn't exactly serious about "tendies", it's just a fun spin on it.

People who call them chicken tendies should never be allowed near a piece of chicken ever again lmao

Chicken tendies just sounds wrong. Really wrong.

Actually, it's chicken fingers. If necessary, chicken tenders is an allowed substitute, but only if absolutely necessary.

Who tf calls them tendies wtf when I read the title I thought it was comparing two different types of food lol
