Pokémon Choose my starter in Moon!

My cousin gave me his Pokemon games and I've never played Gen 7 before. Thought it would be fun if I got the community's input! I was thinking of naming my team after old actors.

It took a minute for me to decide, but I voted Popplio because you said you were naming your team after actors, and Popplio’s line has a lot of sound-based moves. Just thought it would be interesting.

I've actually started to ditch my starter in my recent playthroughs. It's not that I dislike them (Meganium is one of my favorite Pok?mon), but it does get a little old to have the same 3 members on nearly every team. That being said, if I had to choose a starter, I would choose Litten and leave it as a Torracat. I really like Torracat, but Incineroar doesn't really appeal to me.

I liked playing through the game with Decidueye, but I also let go of using it towards the end of the game as I settled into a few other characters carrying my team.

Popplio. it looks like a joke but once it evolves into its final form, god, appreciate the beauty.

I was originally planning to play through with Popplio, but I switched to Rowlet not long ago because I really like its ghost-typing and Fairy type still seems really unappealing to me, even after 5 years.

Besides, Rowlet's line admittedly has the best designs!

Due to my fondness for birds and affection for its design, I'm giving my vote to Rowlet. It starts out as an adorable borb and eventually acquires the nice Ghost typing. By far my favorite of the starters for this region and I'd suggest trading to get one if you don't pick them outright. Either of the others probably fit the actor-theme better though, so, ya know. I'd probably pick Popplio as backup for that because I feel like Primarina fits that better than Incineroar.

I agree. Torrocat looks amazing but Incineroar isn't as nice to design. I wanted to pick Litten as my starter in Ultra Sun after picking Rowlet in moon. I ended up ditching it once it evolved and bred and then traded across a Rowlet
