You know how Tom Nook?s store (or the Nookling stores) expand every time they get enough Bells, right? While they did let you choose in City Folk, the process has always been linear and you couldn?t go back.

Would you like to choose what expansions you want without worrying how many Bells you spend? I would like to see that happen. If this were to happen, I would keep my main shop?s model to being a convenience store, mainly because I prefer longer hours rather than more space. Or if we can have all stores at once rather than just one main shop.

Oh! I remember that! It's been a real long time since I played City Folk, but yeah, I would like to choose my own shops. I thought that was a really fun feature they had, so I think it would be neat if they allowed you to choose again.

I mean options are always good so I wouldn't mind if the game would let me choose but I never had the desire to downgrade if I'm being honest. So I wouldn't ever use it anyways....

My idea of choosing shop expansions is one of the two things:

1. They will ask if you approve or disapprove of them expanding. If you approve, they will expands as there’s no way back. If you disapprove, they won’t expand, but you can ask anytime you want.
2. You can choose any expansion from the start, not just from a linear notation. And if you’re not happy with it, you can ask to build something else when they have enough money.
