Citizen approval?

Hello everyone, I don't know if this is been asked before ( but I guess it has, I just can't find a thread on it ), but how do you raise you citizen approval? I don't want to time travel to do more requests for neighbors. I've already done some requests today, did my flowers, weeds, message board, tune, flag, and only at 65%

One fun trick is to pick and replant your flowers (in a slightly different spot). It will allow you to water them again and therefore is a good way to get your approval rating up within a short period of time.

I found this out with my game, but Isabelle won't update your town approval rating after a certain time of the day. I was worried because mine was stuck at 89% for hours and hours. I usually never time travel, but it was driving me absolutely crazy (and I was afraid I had a glitch or something) so I went to the next morning and it was at 100%.

Ah thanks, I am gonna try planting the flowers again, also I time travel too, but only in the same day. Like if I need a bug in the morning I time travel back to morning, I never go days in the future or past.

You need to upgrade out of your tent also, 20% of your approval rating comes from that if you haven't already done it.

So reading on that page, about the weeds, If I were to have 100 weeds, I can just pull those and my rating would be at 100% after doing the obvious other ones like upgrading tent and stuff?

I honestly don't think anyone has tested something like that before. It would make sense for there to be a limit, considering the approval rating is more or less a tutorial, but yeah I wouldn't know.
