close encounters with youtuber or celbertys

I saw Jenna Marbles in person with Julian who was holding Kermit when I was in college. They were in line for a touristy restaurant and I did a doubletake because I felt like I knew her from somewhere. I didn't do anything and we just engaged in an eye staring contest for 5 seconds until I continued to where I was going.

Personally, I wouldn't know what to say other than, "omigawd I watch your youtube videos!" which is like, how many times have they heard of that before? 🤷‍♀️

should have screamed "oh my gosh beach who you fightin?"

I met Selena Gomez twice while I was in high school. She was filming a movie near by so me and my friends went to go see her twice and both times she came out to say hi and take pictures, which I thought was pretty nice.

Never a YouTuber.

When I was 7 I sat in the same dinner room as Blake Shelton when my family took my cousin & I to Florida once.

Also at 16 I bumped into Vic Fuentes as I was standing in line with my best friend as he came out the front door after finishing a signing at the Collide with the Sky tour in North Carolina. I was so in shock my best friend said "She loves you!" and that smile he had 😍 my best friend sprained her ankle before the show even started and we missed all of it, but bumping into Vic Fuentes made it all worth it!

Also my first Warped Tour I met a couple bands. Dance Gavin Dance members (Jon Mess is lit), Trash Boat, and the Acacia Strain members!

I met Patricia Cornwell once. She did a book signing at my local mall when I was a teenager. I still have the book I got her to autograph. There were a ton of people there, so they were moving everyone along pretty quickly, but she seemed nice. Me being shy and socially awkward, I didn't know what to say, but I remember that she complimented my Tweety Bird shirt.

I don't know if I've ever met a YouTuber because I don't follow any of them. I could be standing right next to one and be completely clueless.

Never met youtubers what I know.

Since I live in the capital though I've seen a lot at a distance, closest I've met though probably some soccer players when I was a kid cause they had some event at a larger grocery store. And I've also met this documentary film-maker cause he was a guest teacher at one of my film studies courses.

not a youtuber but I met Jacqueline Wilson a few years back at a local fair thing, which at the time was the biggest deal to me because growing up I was massively into all of her books. I feel like I've had other encounters but nothing else immediately springs to mind
omggg lucky duck, I loved her "Girls" books and also Illustrated Mum.

I use to be friends with Reed Deming who was on American Idol (or something) when he was younger. We met at a skating rink (I use to figure skate and he briefly took lessons) through mutual friends and we would all skate as a group sometimes during public ice. I had no idea he was famous until random people kept stopping us for pictures with him. It was very weird, but he seemed like a nice kid. I got his phone number and everything, but I don't think I ever texted him. I fell out of touch with all my skating friends when I went to college across the country, so I don't talk to him anymore. But yeah that's the closest encounter I've had with a famous person.

I also knew Debbie Ryan's uncle sort of, but I never actually met Debbie Ryan. Her uncle was married to my high school math teacher (lol), and apparently Debbie Ryan would visit our school sometimes and have lunch with both of them, but I never saw her myself, though my classmates did and got pictures with her. Her uncle would also come in and sub for our math teacher sometimes and I remember he looked a lot like her.

Not a Youtuber but I've met the lead singer of the band Ghost when he was in Paris a few years ago. That was the first time I met a celebrity in my life.

I met Mega64 a couple times when I worked at a place a lot of celebs used to visit. They were a-holes each time I met them.

Justin Long was also a dick when I "met" him.

I also met Egoraptor who was super nice and funny. Met some vloggers "Magical Journeys" in passing.

I've met other celebs too, who mostly were pleasant people.

i met some famous smash melee players at a tournament a couple years ago. it was awesome, and i even got to meet my favorite pikachu player ;-; <3 he was soo kind, and he signed my controller (it sadly has rubbed off since then, rip)

I've had two encounters with celebrities to date - both times randomly running to them while i'm on vacation. First encounter was Bill Murry in Martha's Vineyard and second time it was Ben Affleck when he was filming in NOLA. Also, when i was in LA i run into one of the editors (or producers?) at Buzzfeed. I spotted her and sorta recognized her but couldn't remember her name on the spot until watching a Buzzfeed video afterwards.

I know I posted here before but one day when I was 12 or 13, I was playing Roblox and Poke, who was a relatively popular Youtuber at the time happened to join the same server that I was on. I didn't even know who he was until everyone on the server went crazy and I decided to look him up. We were playing this game called Assassin which the main objective was to murder the the targeted player given to you (I know it sounds violent) I made a appearance in his video for a few seconds if that counts.

Also when I was around 11, I was playing Roblox and I joined the same Meep City server that Ethan Gamer (he's another Roblox Youtuber) was on. I didn't get to talk to him because there was like 50 other screaming kids on there and he was recording a video. I was also in his video for a few seconds but if you were to see the video, it would be a little hard to see me because I was in this huge crowd.

The closest I’ve ever been to someone well known is Alan Walker. I was like 10 feet from him as he played a set in a club. That’s about it.

Oh and yeah I met a semi-famous clothes designer and spoke to her at a market once where I bought a tank top and a long jacket/coat something stuff. Probably did help that I didn't know her range of fame or I'd get way too starstruck aha.

Hmmm.. I feel like there was one occasion where I met someone "famous" but not sure anymore, because it's way too long in the past.
However, in Germany we had "DieAussenseiter" who were suuuuuper popular back then and I figured out they were living not far away from me, maybe 5 minutes? xD However, I've never seen them in real, but to be fair, I would have no idea what I could've said to them, because back then I was even more shy than now and I would've probably just started crying and acted like I didn't see them. >:

I've stream sniped relatively popular Splatoon youtubers before, and they acknowledged my presence, but that's just about it.
I lost the ranked battles that played against them of course. Never was on a team with them.
