Mods can't prevent individuals from doing such actions. But since the offerer and the OP come into an agreement (?) on doing this, then I don't see why not.

That's what I did when I sold Ankha xD .. The person gave me 20mil, so I just waited for the double, ohey 40mil ;D

My station storage is full of royal crowns, but the storage only can contain 180 royal crowns, which mean I haven't 360 but 180 royal crowns. In order to get 360 of those items, I need to duplicate once. I'll first deliver 180 royal crowns to you, then you end the session (it's all what you have to do) and during the saving, I'll reset my game, I'll be back in my town and then I come back in your town, delivering 180 other royal crowns. Basically, I'm gonna "cheat" for Ankha, but as you get your money, I think you're okay, right ?
If you don't feel comfortable with that, don't worry, the duplication is safe for you (but not 100% safe for my save file, whatever, I don't care)
If you're not agree with that, I guess I'm gonna trade with someone else.

I'm finally out of school, and I'm okay with the above.

I thought that is how you get villagers to move out. If you have any dreamies in your town, I suggest not using that method.

Yeah I only do that method to move villagers out. There's another trick: to start a new character and reset if the tent is not up in town. Again, tedious but it works.
