I know some of them do. I had posted here for particular villagers and was able to adopt them because a cycler searched this thread to see if anyone was looking for said villagers. I got 3 of my dreamies this way.

I have an on/off cycling town and I'll search this thread when I have a villager in boxes - in particular for less popular villagers - which is a reason why I prefer if people actually type in who they are looking for instead of saying "see my signature".

Good luck finding your dreamies.

I found several villagers from my cycling town a home because of this topic, and cycling topics, which is where members are most likely to mention their 'dreamies.'

I don't have an official cycling topic, but I start a giveaway topic each time a villager is 'in boxes,' and instead of waiting for replies I use the search feature to find any mentions of the villager within the week in the Villager Plaza and other NL forums, and to VM the members who made those mentions if they have been on within the last three or four days.

Just yesterday, I gave someone Mint the snooty squirrel because she mentioned looking for squirrel villagers in this topic a few days earlier. Every time I find a mention of a villager currently in my town, I add a note in notepad that so and so is looking for that villager, so send him/her a VM.
