Clothing obsession

There are SO MANY new clothing options and the closet UI is literally the best thing ever. I love being able to change my hair whenever I want for free and matching it to whatever i wear

But... I realized something today.
I went to buy a new shirt and shoes but Mabel had to place it in my inventory because my storage was full
And when I went to empty it out 80% of it was different clothing o uo;;
Anyone else have this issue or see it becoming an issue of needing 1,000,000 different outfits for every day? (I change constantly lol)

I've spent so much on clothes and barely have any furniture items or bridges or anything ! Lol

i've got a ton of outfits, but it's not enough, it never is. i have an outfit for watering flowers/ catching bugs/ fishing etc.

i've got to look good doing everything. that's a must

I have seen acid washed pants, a jacket, but no steel toed boots yet. There are a ton of different boots though! I also have not found wings yet but I do have 2 dresses that have wings drawn on them which I was surprised about (one has angel wings the other little fairy ones)

The game does have steel toed boots, bought them before. Not sure about wings.

Same! I keep upgrading my house just so I can buy more clothes, but I know I'm going to have to get rid of some at some point. I'm sure there's going to be a bunch of seasonal clothes, and I'm filling my closet up with just the stuff I've seen in March.

I'm not ashamed to admit the main reason I time travel is to see the new outfits in store today!!! Coming from ACNL, I never could have expected the default shop clothing being more attractive to me than QR designs! The dresses! The overalls!!!

the clothes look so good in their game. there's so many unique silhouettes, and the socks are actually so cute??? i cant wait to get the able sisters on my island; im gonna spend sooo many bells there.

the "male" or masculine style clothing is always so lackluster to the point of im probably just going to start wearing the dresses and such and "female"/feminine hairstyle because they're literally 100x times better. not that big od a deal because i usually play the female option in pokemon and im gay so win win tbh

tbh the notion of anything masculine and feminine seems to be done away with because villagers refer to other player characters as they/them. i feel like ladies always get the best outfit options in games, but that may be because of being stereotypical more focused on fashion, but im not complaining. gimme the cute dresses

There are no genders or gendered items in the game c: it is also to be noted that items have no specific gender irl either but that is another conversation!!
I have found plenty of non-feminine clothing that looks AWESOME

yes!! im so happy about that too <3 thats why i was steering away from calling them boy/girl clothing but yes the dresses are too die for ugh. sucks i have to wait for able sisters saw mabel once so far soooo a third of the way!

Haha, I've been kind of behaving so far with clothing. That said, I have so many resources right now but luckily I'm only about half into my home storage (though I have upgraded and have the 400 storage slots).
