Collectable suggestions

Other people designing their own collectables has got me thinking, what do you WANT to be seen as the hot new collectible? Not somethin already existing, something completly new.

Personally I'd reallllly love a 'nighttime' aesthetic line up, which would have a night sky collectable and a shooting star/meteor one. Others I'd like to see are
•An aurora northern lights
•Dandelion and dandelion puffs
•A rainbow and double rainbow
•A Welcome Amiibo video game icon, like the one that we have for HHD and ACNL already
•3, similar to the poptart style, one with a white backround and yellow house, the other with the green leaf the last with the red apple.
•More hybrids/white carnations
•The balloons we can get from the HH showcase. I know there's 2 balloons already, but I think having the bunny and heart balloons would be cool.

I think insect collectibles would be a great idea. I know we have the Flea, but that's probably one of the most unappealing insects there is. Perhaps hold a Bug Off event where users could catch butterflies, or even an animated firefly collectible?

They could do the same thing with fish as well. To be honest I'm kind of surprised I've seen no one else mention this sort of thing, since bugs and fish are such a big part of the Animal Crossing series.

Ooh I really like these, esp the rare sunrise/sunset ones! Those would be SO cool to have.

Also with that nighttime aesthetic I mentioned ealier, I realized I forgot the moon phases in ACNL, including the new moon. Man I'd die ten times over if tbt ever did that, I just love moon/star stuff ;_;

We need more fruits!! Especially lemons, but I would love to see collectibles for lychees, grapes (since they've been confirmed in PC), bananas, coconuts, etc.

Omigosh! I would so love these! I'm not quite sure what I would like to see, but perhaps more ice cream collectibles? I've only seen one or two. Though I'm pretty sure it's just the one I've seen.

Well there is the popsicle and ice-cream swirl collectable. Neither of them are ACNL oriented, but still pretty cool either way. I think the ice-creams from the HH showcase would be cool thou.

Right. I think that's what I was going for, the ice cream you get from the HH showcase. I mean, there is quite a few different flavors to do that could make cool collectibles.

I would like to see more different kinds of pokeball collectibles since there’s only three so far. Maybe two new kinds to coincide with the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Other than that, I think the idea of having a summer event or an event sometime where an animated firefly collectible is released would be really cool.

This may sound silly but I think a bag of Bells would be a really cute collectible. I'd also love a Town Tree Collectible that there could be different versions of - a small one for new members (say 1 day - 1 year), a medium one for 2-4 years of being a member & a huge one for 5+ years of membership. Plus there could be a Cherry Blossom version - but that could only be gotten through an event (Say an Easter event) so it would be more rare.

maybe instead of years, base it on number of posts as achievement?
