Computer painting

[Pear]

I was bored with making sigs, so I decided to give drawing in GIMP a try. I don't have a drawing tablet, so this was done 100% by mouse. It's my first one, so don't be too harsh. Other than that, rate and critique away.

This was my reference point.

Yeah, all by mouse, except for the screen glare, which was added in with a GIMP effect.
I love the way the background turned out, but I dislike the foreground. I'll fix it later today if I have time.

Like I said, it's just a reference to figure out the colors of things in the distance, trees, etc.

Yessir.
It takes awhile to learn the ins and outs though, so don't expect to be a master in a day.

I was gonna say that the foreground didn't look right. Don't bother with the background. It's good the way it is.
