It’s definitely possible that hybrids from islands are different as with my blue pansies making purple so easy.I've gotten purple hyacinths from 2 pinks, red and pink hyacinths from 2 blues, red mums from 2 purples (all from mystery islands)
Hi flower experts thanks for opening the conversation up. I'm new to hybrids and trying to get my blue rose farm going. Appreciate if someone can help me to confirm the following will work for me? BTW is this what might be considered a "classical" approach from previous AC games? Are there any problems with this as I can't seem to find out why the guide in the OP is any better?
Red x Yellow = Orange
White x Orange = Red* ("special")
Red* x Red* = Blue
Hm, I got them from a friend who I believe retrieved them from a mystery island so that could definitely explain it!
That would be helpful, I’ll add something to the first post to clarify.Definitely probably explains it! I think when people are posting their results, they should specify if the flowers they used to breed the hybrid were taken from a mystery island or not, just to keep things consistent and avoid bad data.
Don’t know if I have the authority to confirm but I got purple tulips from orange + orange
and black cosmos from orange + orange
Interesting, I would imagine that may be because the pink hybrids have white parent flowers which allows them to produce purple.I just got purple mums from breeding two pink mums!
