On my quest to get to 100mil in my savings, playing the stalk market has been a huge asset. My Obsessive Compulsive tendencies come out, and I enjoy checking the prices everyday, writing them down in my calendar, and speculating which pattern I have and when to sell.
It's been great up until this point, with very few last minute find-a-friend-with-a-decent-price scrambles. This week, however, has been and emotional roller coaster...

When I saw that 100 and 124 yesterday, I was relieved! Yes! I thought, I'll get a spike and make atleast a little money! Once of the prices Friday would be high enough to sell. I was saved!
So this morning, I stood patiently outside of ReTail, waiting for Reese to open shop. The lights went on, I stepped inside, and she greeted me as always.
"How are turnips today?"
"Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 73 Bells!"

So now I'm at a total loss. I thought I had a spike pattern, but now it's so clearly random, except it didn't look so random until today. I have to wonder if I had checked Monday morning, if it would have been more obvious. I suspect spike patterns don't start as high at 130. In the past, they're usually around 80-100.
I'm currently holding out to see what happens at noon, and asking around for decent prices. I bought turnips at 94ea, so it shouldn't be difficult to atleast break even.
But, there's always next week! Happy turnip-ing everyone!
