Creepiest thing on ACNL

I was just playing a few minutes ago then spotted a tarantula- so I quickly got out my net and tried to catch it.
I went near it and then suddenly my character looked like she was stung by a bee.
Then it went black and my character was on the floor outside my house.
How creepy was this?
I mean if it happened in the middle of the day I would be fine about it- but just before going to bed, too creepy!

Too many times, especially in wild world. Icaught the one I saw in this game because it was in the open so I saw it.
They are creepy though...

Yes! I flipped out the first time I saw one, actually screaming(arachnophobic) and fumbled to get my net while it bit me! The second time I saw a tarantula it ran off a cliff Then the third time I finally caught one.

I've discovered two and caught them both. If you hold down A they don't seem to attack you/run
