Okay, this was just a test to see if I could freehand realism?
I was sitting in Geometry with no refs and I thought I could do better than this but
Honestly I know I can't right now
I really, really need criticism and help on what to do,
I see that the mouth is too low and somehow the nose if off but
It's absolutely hideous
image.jpg
SORRY THAT IT'S SIDEWAYS <//3
Also, I don't wanna be TOO realistic with it.
I will never change the eyes proportions-wise because that is my style, and I have big eyes myself
I just like them that way
Anything about the shading in them though
Or the lashes or anything other than their size is completely fine
Thank you!

I like it I would buy one.

I would pay 50-100 Bells for that maybe more depending on the quality on the art.

The eyelashes should face away from the center of the face instead of towards it. The nose should also be pointed up a little more. It still looks great as it is though.

Really? Wow that isn't what I expected to hear xD
Thank you so much!<3

Thank you!! I'll definitely try that with my next attempt

Here's just my (very unprofessional) opinion!!

Nose: Would suit the face better if it were shorter (around the center of the head) and perhaps smaller. I don't recommend connecting the bridge of the nose and the nostrils part with such dark outlines as it can bring a lot of attention to it when your art would suit the attention going to the eyes instead. So I mean it would probably look nicer if only the top of the bridge (like between the eyes kinda area) and the nostrils sort of area of the nose were outlined. hard to explain haha

Mouth: The mouth would look more in proportion if it were higher up and outlined less dark. Dark outlines on facial features separate them from the rest of the picture and give the impression that they arent really connected.

Chin: remember that there is a dip bellow the lower lip and the chin is actually usually pretty round and not smoothed into the rest of the face so much. Try to draw the chin to suit the shape of the mouth by imagining how the bones beneath would look and how the person would look with their mouth open to decide how to make the chin look like it was built for their face. I hope this makes sense

please remember that these tips are based on basic, typical proportions and faces and stuff, so really these dont need to be applied to everyone (everyone looks different!) but in a lot of cases they might help

Something off with the mouth? Maybe just because there isn't much shading so there isn't much shape to them, and yeah it's a bit low. Also the eyebrows look too "solid" like drawn on eyebrows look, it would look better if you added some hair texture to them. Other than that it's a really nice drawing!

Personally, I love how the nose looks. I like bigger cartoon-y noses. But, don't connect the bridge to they eye (or at least keep it down lower) The lips look a little too low, but other than that, this is gorgeous. Omg can I get one? Name your price

Wow, OK! I'll be able to post refs after school (unless you're willing to dig through art threads to find my refs lol)

I would like you to try my refs too I don't know how you are drawing alien heads on a human body.

I want it to look like this style with a kinda full body look.

Heres some refs

And body types I like if needed.

If you want I can pay BTB Bells or Ingame Bells depending what your needing.

If you have a scanner if your drawing it on paper I prefer no line paper its easy to color in without editing out the lines.

Art in Photoshop is ok i'm fine with any art program or method you use.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing what you can do.

it looks really nice but the one thing that i think could be changed is the lines of the bridge on the nose. usually i erase pieces of them rather then do one full line to define it. just an opinion tho!! good luck!!
EDIT: you could also shade where the nose defining line would be rather than put the line, to still show some definition if you don't want to erase parts of it completely. just make the line lighter imo
